NEW SINGLE OUT NEXT WEEK!

SASHA ILYUKEVICH & THE HIGHLY SKILLED MIGRANTS

SINGLE ‘VISA’ PRESS RELEASE

'VISA' is Ilyukevich’s satirical reflection on the adversity of living in the post-Soviet dictatorship of his Motherland Belarus, and later his struggle to settle in Britain, having to comply to ever-aggressive immigration rules.

“You need a Visa to see our democracy. You are a Second Class Citizen. You need a Visa to speak out.”

In this volatile and hostile political climate, the future uncertainties provoked by Brexit act to exacerbate the conflicting opinions on the Migrant Crisis in Europe, the demagogue Trump and Putin’s imperialistic ambitions. This song addresses the evasive 'VISA' to remain as symbolic of all such biased bureaucratic systems used to create even more separation and destruction in this world.
